Description
Mode of action:
Due to immobilization of phosphate by mineral ions such as Fe, Al and Ca and organic acids, the rate of available phosphate in soil is well below plant needs. Chemical fertilizers are also immobilized in the soil, immediately so that only 20% of added fertilizer is absorbed by plants. PSB + KMB convert this insoluble phosphatic compounds particularly the chemically fixed soil phosphorus into available form. The microbial population (PSB and KMB) and its activity i.e. organic acid secretion contribute the changes of potassium mobility from the soil towards plant roots. Rate of non-exchangeable K release and its mechanism are controlled by nature and amount of clay minerals, besides this exploring the role of microbes present in the soil.
Bio Fertilizer PSB +KMB Such organism not only assimilates phosphorus and Potassium but also cause a large amount of soluble phosphate to be released in excess of their own requirements.
Bio Fertilizer PSB + KMB activity is determined by the ability of microbes to release metabolites such as organic acid (lactic acid, malic acid, gluconic acid, fumaric acid, succinic and acetic acid).
PSB +KMB Bio Fertilizer, Inorganic compound is solubilized by action of organic (gluconic, ketogluconic) and inorganic acids (Hcl) secreted by microbes and maintain the soil pH. The pH of rhizosphere is lowered the bio-carbonates release (anions/cation balance) and oxygen/carbon oxide gaseous exchange.
Benefits to the crops:
- Increase micronutrients availability to plant from the soil like Mn, Mg, Fe, Mo, B, Zn and Cu in addition to P2O5 and K2O.
- Encourage faster root growth for water and nutrient uptake.
- Produce organic acids like malic, succinic, fumaric, citric, tartaric acid and acetic acid which fasten the P2O5 up take, maturity and increase yield.
- Increase resistance towards diseases and drought tolerance due to rapid cell development in the plants.
- Compatible to other beneficial microbes with the plant like growth promoting substance.
- Reduce 25 – 30% Chemical Fertilizer requirement.
- Improve resistance of crop plants against disease and stress condition.
- Improve crop growth and yield by 20 – 30 %.
- Secretion of growth hormones to increase crop productivity.
- Suitable to apply to all crop.
- Enhance soil health and soil fertility.
- Improve sucrose content in crop and appearance.
- Improve coloration and shelf life of crop.
Target crops:
Cereals (Wheat, Paddy, Maize, Barley),Pulses(Soybean, Green gram, Chickpea, Black gram, Pigeon pea Pea), Oil seeds (Sunflower, Ground Nut, Mustard, Coconut, Safflower), Fibrous(Cotton, Jute), Vegetables, Fruit and Plantation crops
Method of application and dosage:
- Seed Treatment – Mix 4 – 5 ml PSB +KMB Bio Fertilizer in 50 – 100 ml of water, mix thoroughly with the seed and shade drying for 1 hour before sowing the treated seed.
- Seedlings Treatment– Mix 4 – 5 ml PSB + KMB Bio Fertilizer per lit. of water. A solution of PSB+KMB Bio Fertilizer is prepared; seedlings are dipped in this solution for about 30 minutes before transplanting.
- Soil Application – Mix 500ml – 1.0 lit/acre of Bio Fertilizer PSB + KMB in 40-50 kg of well decomposed F.Y.M/compost or vermicompost or field soil and broadcast in the field before sowing or broadcast up to 45 days after sowing in standing crop and irrigate the field.
- Drip irrigation – Mix PSB + KMB Consortia 1.0 lit /Acre in 100 liter of water and irrigate the field through drip irrigation.
Compatibility:
- Friendly with bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides.
- Don’t mix with chemical Bactericide (antibiotic).
